Adams
The Adams trail is a short, 0.2 mile trail between the Adams House and the White Reef trail. Easy and relatively level, the distance from the White Reef trailhead to the Adams House is about ½ mile. The trail crossing via a small bridge at Quail Creek is designed for hikers and bikers. There is an alternate, horse trail crossing that requires wading through the creek.

- The trail starts at the historic 1860’s Adams House that has been restored for visitor education and enjoyment.
- The historic site has multiple interpretive panels to help visitors understand the trials endured by the original homestead pioneers.
- From the Adams House the trail drops down towards Quail Creek and connects visitors with the Cordura and White Reef trails.
- A footbridge assists hikers and bikers in crossing the Quail Creek drainage.
- Approaching the creek from the north, hikers and bikers take the right-hand fork to use the footbridge across the Quail Creek drainage. Equestrians will take the left fork to cross through the creek itself.
- The trail is primarily a single-track, appropriate for hikers, bikers and equestrians.
- The trail ends to the north less than 1/4 mile from the Adams House as it approaches the White Reef trail.
- The trail leads visitors to the old Cordura movie set at its north end.
