Desert Marigold
Desert Marigolds grow between 8-20” tall. They are a short-lived perennial with white-wooly stems that branch from a taproot. The strap-shaped corollas of the ray flowers dry and bend back as the flowers age. There flowering season is April-June. It prefers to grow in sandy washes 2,000-5,000 ft. in elevation.
