High Grade
The High Grade trail is a short, 0.4 mile, single track connector trail that goes from the Red Cliffs campground road near the Quail Creek crossing to the north end of the Prospector trail. It primarily serves equestrians coming out of the White Reef trailhead but is open to hikers and bikers. Elevation change is about 100 feet. Visitors will enjoy nice views of the signature Red Cliffs in the background.

- The High Grade stepover is located off the main entrance road into the Red Cliffs Recreation Area. Room exists for one or two vehicles but horse trailers are not recommended.
- Throughout its length, the trail is a single-track dirt trail shown here running across level ground on top of the hill.
- From the top of the hill the trail drops off to the lower valley as it heads towards the popular Prospector trail.
