Brooks Nature Trail

Brooks Nature Trail begins at a small parking area at the Brooks Nature Park located at the north end of Main Street in St. George.  A relatively easy trail suitable primarily for hikers, it winds for about 1/4 mile to its junction with the east end of the popular Owen’s Loop trail.  Consisting of a dirt surface, the trail rises about 50 feet in elevation from its start and includes a couple of rocky sections and brief uphill scrambles.  The trail primarily crosses lands administered by the city of St. George and a small stretch of land administered by the BLM within the Red Cliffs NCA.  For information on the entire Owen’s Loop trail option, go to the Owen’s Loop trail description in this subsection.

See the Owens Loop trail for more information.
